Some fans loved Beyonce's halftime show performance at Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday evening (Feb. 3)... but according to the animal rights activists over at PETA, the hit R&B songstress really missed the mark when it came to her non-animal friendly costume attire. The sexy, skin-tight black bodysuit, designed by Rubin Singer and made out of python, paneled iguana, and leather, had some PETA members fuming... apparently Beyonce has no clue how to encompass the up-and-coming vegan fashion trends.

Never mind Beyonce's alleged "nip slip" during her stellar halftime show performance, all that PETA members could keep their eyes on was the songstress' costume made out of dead animal skin. According to the Daily News, a PETA spokesman released this statement after the show:

"We would take a bet that if Beyonce watched our video exposes, she'd probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits or other animals who died painfully. Today's fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyonce's Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score."

PETA also slammed Beyonce just last month, after she was spotted flaunting a mink coat at President Obama's inauguration (right before she hit the stage to spark a lip-syncing controversy).

So what do Mstarz fans think... was Beyonce's Super Bowl costume hot, or just plain-old disgusting?
