Florida Senator and Poland Spring aficionado Marco Rubio responded to comments that Lil Wayne made during his infamous anti-Miami Heat rant in Houston that he "ain't 2Pac" but rather the "new 'Pac."
In an interview with TMZ, Rubio cast doubts on this claim.
"There's only one Tupac," Rubio said. "Tupac lived in a different time. These guys have some message in what they're saying, but I think they're largely entertainers."
He went on to say that "Tupac was more someone who was trying to inform us about what was going on, and he did it through entertainment."

Rubio noticeably did not respond to Wayne's trashing of his hometown team, the Miami Heat. He kept it cool.
This is not a surprise as Senator Rubio is no stranger to giving measured responses. 2 weeks ago he was charged with responding to President Obama's State of the Union and his parched speech and water bottle grabs set the internet on fire. (Side note: Rubio drank a bottle of Poland Spring. Which leaves us with one question: Where is the Florida love? Grab a Zephyrhills next time, Marco.)
Rubio also spoke on the Wu-Tang Clan and Dave Chapelle.
What do you think? Is Rubio right to feel that Wayne is not on the same level as 2Pac? Should politicians be commenting on rapper's statements and beefs?
