Comedian Aziz Ansari's Netflix series Master of None seems to be gaining some critical recognition as of late. But as great as the show is, it appears the Internet cannot stop talking about Ansari's onscreen and real-life father, Shoukath Ansari. And in the eye of his newfound fame, it looks as if all the fame is going to his head. At least, that's what the former Parks and Recreation star told Conan O'Brien.
The mind behind Master of None stopped by CONAN on Monday night to discuss his new show. During his panel, Ansari disclosed that his father's popularity in the series unexpectedly soared. And as a result, it appears he may now have a big head.
"It's totally gone to his head," Ansari told O'Brien, further stating that his father allegedly called him and explained that his lawyer believes he should get an Emmy for his performance.
Ansari also divulged that there's an Instagram account for fans of his father.
It should be mentioned that Ansari's father is not an actor at all; he's actually a gastroenterologist.

For fans of CONAN, the Team Coco, well, team, will be playing an episode taped in Armenia tonight. It's aptly titled Conan in Armenia. On Monday, the TBS series released a preview of the episode, which O'Brien discussed on last night's episode before bringing out Ansari.
