Remember when you couldn't turn on MTV without seeing rapper Eminem? Well, it has been a while since hip-hop fans have seen much of the rapper. This is why it was such big news when TMZ caught Eminem leaving popular Los Angeles restaurant Marino. Marshall Mathers was leaving the restaurant by himself and was wearing a hoodie. When asked about fellow rapper Lil Wayne and his recent health problems with seizure's, the 40-year-old rapper was not looking to comment.
Eminem is not known for being very friendly in public and he can even be downright moody at times. So it's no surprise the rapper was silent when photographers tried to get a comment from him about Lil Wayne. Eminem and Lil Wayne have worked together in the past on songs such as "Forever" and "Drop the World."
The once famous hip-hop artist was on top of the rap world with hits like "The Real Slim Shady" and "Lose Yourself." However, he has been relatively silent in recent years, instead choosing to keep his life private. The star of "8 Mile" has three kids including his 17-year-old daughter with his ex-wife and two adopted nieces.
There is good news for fans of the rapper. Eminem will be headlining the Reading and Leeds 2013 summer festivals which are expected to be among the festival's most popular in its history.
Shady Records also announced in February that Eminem will be releasing his eighth studio album after Memorial Day in 2013. President Paul Rosenberg told Billboard, "It's safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we're not exactly sure when. We've got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we're trying to see what else lines up." This will be Eminem's first album since 2011.
The latest with rapper Lil Wayne and his suppposed medical problem is that he is resting in a L.A. hospital. According to CNN, a friend said Lil Wayne is just resting right now. Let's hope the rapper can get better soon and make a full recovery.
